Disconnect event got initially after restart or power cycle ESP32 device

Hi,

We are using ESP32 IDF 3.1 Stable Release for our application development purpose. Also, We are using STA mode for online communications and AP mode for offline communication.

So, We have did following test into our application.

1) We have set STA configuration as per our router and connected ESP32 to that router
2) set reconnect policy to 60 seconds
3) Do power cycle or ESP32 Device

So, We have observed that initially ESP32 device is generating disconnect on first attempt while connecting ESP32 Device with Router. After that it will try to connect with same Router after 60 seconds of reconnect interval.

So, Do you have any idea like how to resolve that issue like ESP32 device is connected with router into first attempt?

I believe that when ESP32 is going to reboot or power cycle at that time Router won't get any disconnect event so that might be ESP32 device will generate event once it will try to connect STA configured router.

Still, I need proper details ans justification for that.

Hi Espressif SDK Developer,

I think this might be known issue which you have fixed recently into ESP32 IDF but I don't know that commit.

Let me correct if I am wrong.
