Hi,
as a delivery of an ESP32 takes ~4 weeks, I´d like to have a simple question answered
Sadly, the forum search does not allow "c++", and I did not found my answer on the first few dozen sites.
Actually I use Visual Studio MicroBuild extension to program my Arduinos. Now I found
"WEMOS Lite V1.0.0 Board based ESP32 MicroPython 4MB FLASH"
for a good price at my trusted ebay seller.
Problem: it says "MicroPython". After some research on the internet, I am very sure I´d like to stick to C++ (never programmed in Python). More research says ESP32 and C++ is no problem, but it is very unclear about the requirements:
do I need an special ESP32?
or do I have to flash the firmware?
Can I easily program this ESP32 in C++ as I do on Arduino? (except lots of libaries won´t work / have to be rewritten)
Can I stick to Visual studio, especially with the MicroBuild extension?
Programming ESP32 with VS in C++?
