ESP32 takes very long to connect

I am following this guide to create a sample program on ESP32:

The code successfully uploads to ESP32. However, it takes a very long time to connect. This is the exact number of points it spits out before getting on the network:

What may be the cause of my problem? My SSID has a blank space in the middle. Is it the culprit? TIA.
