spiffs support for external flash

Hi
I would like to connect an external nand flash to esp32 of size around 256MB. is their any component available in examples or open source so that I can use it.
As far I know spiffs in esp-idf supports internal flash and fat isn't a good option for flash and most of them support nor flash.

Can I use the sd card example for this ??
