Possible to start ESP in LR-softAP + WiFi-station?

I am trying to make an "ESP-router" for multiple sensors running on LR (250kbps long-range) protocol.

I would like the ESP-router to connect to my WiFi as the source of the internet connection, while simultaneously being in LR-softAP, so that my sensors can send data to the ESP-router from long distances.

If I just the ESP-router in WIFI_MODE_APSTA + 802.11 BGNLR, is everything automatic?
