Generating PWM signal with adjustable duty cycle and frequency

Hi, I want to control some external devices that can only be controlled using PWM signal with adjustable duty cycle and frequency.
Can anyone advise what is the best way to do that and what code is most effective in that case.
Is there a hardware PWM on ESP32 that does not require timer code or some looping?
