Looking to Aliexpress shop of Wemos, there are no LOLIN32 boards anymore.
Does anybody know more about that ? There is no answer in wemos forum.
I would love to buy some LOLIN32 PRO, since they have had by far the best price to get an WROVER board.
Please feel free to correct me, if there are other comparable boards on the market.
No wemos boards available (any more ?)
Re: No wemos boards available (any more ?)
There is a similar board TTGO T8 V1.1
And it is easy re replace 4MB Flash with the 16MB one...

Re: No wemos boards available (any more ?)
Thanks a lot !!
They have 2 boards
- one with ESP32 WROVER
- another one with ESP32 WROOM and external PSRAM, Lithium Battery interface, tf card and 3d Antenna
Both for a good price.

This one acctually does not have ESP32 WROOM module, but bare ESP32 chip + external Flash + external psRAM.jumjum123 wrote:.. another one with ESP32 WROOM and external PSRAM, Lithium Battery interface, tf card and 3d Antenna...
It is not shilded, that is why I've said it is easy to replace the Flash chip with the larger 16MB one.

If you would have seen me working with soldering iron, you would never use the word easy again
At lease not together with my name

Re: No wemos boards available (any more ?)
I just noticed that in TTGO T8 V1.1 the 3D antenna is mounted in the wrong orientation. If you compare it with pico dev kit, antenna has different orientation. The correct one (as stated in its datasheet) is the one from the original pico kit.
So I expect wireless performance to be quite worse on the TTGO T8 V1.1.

Re: No wemos boards available (any more ?)
Did anyone try the ttgo t8 v1.1 borads with the Arduino IDE?
I mange to get something uploaded but the sketch does not start
I also have to use the boot button to be able to program it otherwise it seems to work without the button when I use the esp32 pico as board selected. the checksum seems to be ok
