Hello,
i want to connect and use a 32kHz crystal as an external Clock with esp32.
I have an ESP32 (ESP32-WROOM-32 | ESP32-DEVKITC-v4).
And i have a Oscillator like this one: https://ielectrony.com/en/product/cryst ... s-_-32khz/
And i also know that its the IO pins 32 and 33.
But i dont understand if i just have to directly connect the pins with the oscillator pins. Or if i have to put something in between like a resistor.
The reason i need the 32khz oscillator is, in the esp-idf power safe example, it says ESP32 needs a external 32khz crystal for light sleep mode.
"ESP32 does not support the use of main XTAL in light sleep mode, so an external 32kHz crystal is required."
https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/tr ... power_save
Thank you
How to physically connect a Crystal Oscillator to ESP32
