Hi,
We have a problem with a small prototype we made.
The prototype is based on ESP32-S3FN8, we have designed our complete pcb with LNA and on board antenna. We are using canbus and several sensors with no issues. However the wifi does not seem to work properly.
Once we try the espressif examples we can use the scan example and see our available networks but if we try the wifi station code and try and connect to one of the available accesspoints the module allways fails. We cannot use the ESP32-S3FN8 as soft AP either. It appears shortly and then dissappears. There seems to be some setting or alike that we are missing, that is specific for exactly this mcu?
The code works flawlessly on a regular ESP32-S3 dev module, however we are extremely space constrained so there are no possiblility to move forward with that.
We have also tried to feed the mcu with 3.3V directly from a lab supply, but no difference, why we think this might be a code issue, or settings issue somehow.
If anyone have more input on this we would appreciate it or if anyone have experience from succeding with wifi on this specific device, that would be comforting in future faultfighting.
