I want to make sure there is lots of forum support for any esp32 module I choose to use.

Which modules are among the most popular and most supported here on the forum?

the whole series of ESP32-WROOM-32 is the most popular and I've seen many people using it here. But I don't think nominating any singular module or series is right.

I don't think this forum favors any particular ESP32 variant or kit model. However, I'm sure model usage is not uniform, so you're likely to see more posts about some particular models than others. If you choose an ESP32 to meet your needs and have an issue with it, then you can certainly make a post regarding your issue. I've seen posts even about custom ESP32 circuit designs which have received replies as long as ample detail is given about the problem.
