Any success with wall box with esp-idf component for gc9503

Hey,
I have a esp32s3 based box with touch screen (link below), which works with the board support package for it, but I can't get it to work with the esp-idf components like https://components.espressif.com/compon ... ions/3.0.1 .

I need that because the BSP doesn't support a recent esp-idf version.
My problem is the screen doesn't show anything (you can only see vague light because I turned on the backlight).
