Controlling LEDs in the footwell of a car by voice with an ESP8266

Hello everyone,

I am new to the whole ESP topic.
My English is not the best so I did a lot with the translator, but I hope everything is understandable.

The project I have in mind is to install interior floor lighting in my car. With an ESP8266 and WLED. I know where to get power and how WLED works. But I would like to be able to operate these LEDs with voice control, now the question is what is the best way to do this? I've already looked on the internet but haven't found anything specific on the subject. I have thought about making a home assistant on a 2 ESP8266 and then using it to control the WLED, but all the videos I have seen about this require a router (network). But I don't have that in the car. It would be possible to install a small router for this but I don't want to spend a lot of money and now have 5 ESP8266.
Maybe one of you has an idea how to solve this.
If there are any further questions, I will be happy to answer them.

Kind regards
Ralle
