Hi,
I'm about to develop a mini drone on my own. As a starting point, I would like to use the open-source ESP-Drone (https://github.com/espressif/esp-drone/ ... d0be310dff) which uses a ESP32-S2-WROVER board.
The original design has the ability to utilize a camera, which I would also like to use. Additionally, I would like to have the ability to apply debugging via JTAG.
To have a minimal working JTAG connection, I will need TDI (IO41), TDO (IO40), TCK (IO39), TMS (IO42) signals and GND. In the attached schematic (Drone_Schematic.pdf) these pins are currently connected for other purposes. IO41, IO40 and IO39 are used for an expansion header. Since I do not need this header, I can remove these connections.
However, IO42 (CAM_Y5) is connected to the camera connector FFC-24P and occupies the TMS signal. Therefore, I need to replace this signal to another GPIO.
Somehow, at https://github.com/espressif/esp-drone/ ... rdware.rst I cannot find any use of CAM_Y5.
Is it possible to have CAM_Y5 on IO38 (NO 32) which is currently connected as BUZ_2 on the expansion header? Is there any limitation to the use of IO38?
I'm planning to use a dedicated 6-pin header with TDI, TDO, TCK, TMS together with GND1 and VDD33.
I will be grateful for your help.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
Fabian
