ESP32-WROOM-32E-N4 vs ESP32-MINI-1. Can they be directly replaced or what should be changed?

I am using ESP32-WROOM-32E-N4 and is looking for a smaller size. I have two questions.

1. Can the firmware running in ESP32-WROOM-32E-N4 be directly running in ESP32-MINI-1? Otherwise, what should be changed?
2. In the "Current Consumption Characteristics" section in the datasheet of ESP32-WROOM-32E-N4 and ESP32-MINI-1, all the data are the same, except:
(i) a sentence under the Table 8 in the datasheet of ESP32-WROON-32E-N4 mentions "All transmitters’ measurements are based on a 50% duty cycle.", while
(ii) that in the datasheet of ESP32-MINI-1 mentions "All transmitters’ measurements are based on a 100% duty cycle.".

It is important information as it may imply the power consumption will be double in ESP32-MINI-1.

Are there any suggestions on the two questions above?
