New & Evaluating - Help please

Hi to All

Very new to the ESP family, and not too experienced with embedded development, although I have created a few applications using the Arduino IDE on some of their boards.

I have an application and want to know if the ESP32-SD3-BOX-Lite would suit my requirements.

All I need is the following;

Board to communicate with a mobile APP over BLE.
Receive images and possibly sound files, downloaded by the App and stored on-board,
Receive commands from the APP and display relevant images dependent on a code in the command
Dependent on commands - produce sounds from the device
Possibly, in the future - extend the static images to small videos

Will the ESP32 do the job?
Is it Overkill?
Would I be able to use the Arduino IDE to do the programming?
