ESP32-S2 RTC Time reset to wrong value after OTA update

I am using esp-idf version v4.3.1 and using ESP32-S2 for my development, in which time keeping is important .
After an OTA update and device resets, the RTC time shows wrong, and it gets updated when synced with NTP. But for my application, time shouldn't loose at any stage . Currently the time gap between the reset and timesync using NTP is critical for me. Can anyone help with any known patch ..?
