Hi all, I am trying to set up a minimal breakout board for ESP32-C3-WROOM-02. Currently I pulled up EN and GPIO8 with 10k resistors and it appears to be working.
According to the datasheet, it seems I also need to pull up GPIO2 and may also pull up GPIO9. However, if I pull up any of GPIO2 and GPIO9 or both, the module boots consistently into the download mode.
I checked the schematic and there is no internal pullup for GPIO2 so not sure why pulling it up will cause it to boot into download. Also the GPIO9 is already weakly pulled up internally so not sure why an additional external pullup will boot it into download. Kindly suggest.
