do you know if there are any regulations for the used mac addresses like a window in between xxxxx and yyyyy.
I'm currently working on a program with multiple ESP32 cams which i don't know the exact mac addresses of because they aren't bought yet.
Due to the requirement of minimal energy consumption of different nodes inside my wireless, battery driven chain the message being sent shall be as short as possible. In the best case i only ned three or four chars for all the used sensors (esp32 cam).
Is there any possibility to shorten the whole mac address down to four or five digits and still be unique for all the esp32 cams?
