ESP32 WROOM 32U Need a reset to start running the source code

Hi everyone, I recently acquired a ESP32-D0WD module for my base board and I have the following issue, I can upload the source code with no problem ; but when I power up my board the code does not run until I press the enable button to start reading the source code and work fine. Any idea of why is this happening ? Any hardware or software recommendations I might considered?
