Wifi carrier mode for production testing

We would like to set our ESP32-wrover module into Wifi constant carrier or modulated carrier.
This is needed as a step in our production testing, to check that Wifi output power is ok in the assembled product.
To reduce production time, this should be done from our general device firmware, and not a speciel firmware that need to be downloaded.

What are the IDF API call's to make this work ?
