Lilygo T Beam $ T3 V2.16 projects that work?

I finally managed to upload programs to these. That took a while

I eventually got the I2C interface to work on the T Beam, when I finally noticed that the I2C pins on the board do not match the I2C pins on the pinout diagram.

Nothing I have tried, which is everything I can try, will get an SD card to work on either one, or the I2C to work on the T3 V2.16.

I can't find any project anywhere made with a T3 V2.16. Paxcounters do not count, they come with that loaded. The only project I can find for a T beam is a GPS over LoRa project

has anyone actually used one of these things for anything, ever, and documented it?
