Hello,
I found some discrepancies in the datasheets of esp32-s3, esp32-s3-wroom-1(U) and esp32-s3-wroom-2, default function of GPIO 19/20 (in bold):
https://www.espressif.com/sites/default ... eet_en.pdf
In the ESP32-S3 (mcu), p14, saying USB_D+/-
https://www.espressif.com/sites/default ... eet_en.pdf
ESP32-S3-WROOM-1(U) (module), p10, saying USB_D+/-
https://www.espressif.com/sites/default ... eet_en.pdf
ESP32-S3-WROOM-2 (module), p9, saying they are generic GPIOs by default !?
Should they default to USB_D+/- ?
I've tested in my ESP32-S3-devkitC-1-N32R8V (wroom-2), and it should be internal USB phy by default or I cannot debug it through USB at all.
Possible typos in the datasheet of ESP32-S3-WROOM-2

Re: Possible typos in the datasheet of ESP32-S3-WROOM-2
Hello,
Thank you for bringing this issue to us!
You're right, the default function of GPIO 19/20 in ESP32-S3-WROOM-2 should be USB_D-/+ as well. Sorry for the misleading information given in the previous version. We have modified this in today's newly released ESP32-S3-WROOM-2 Datasheet v0.7 (https://www.espressif.com/sites/default ... eet_en.pdf).
