ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1-N8R8 (Engineering Samples Only) ???

Hallo,

is the silicon of the ESP32-S3 still in BETA status or is the final chip available ?
I wand to digg deeper into the S3 model and the only thing that scares me from purchasing some N8R8 boards is the "Engineering Samples Only" status on mouser / digikey shop .

The silicon of the -S3 is final. I think that the 'engineering sample' is because octal psram is something new to the ESP32 series, and the team doing the PCBs may not have figured out the optimal routing just yet.
