The first attempts to install ended with an error when installing python (ssl wrong_version_number). I don't know how to solve this problem. Then I deleted everything and tried to install everything again and got the following:
VS Code log:
Failed download. Retrying...
Error: Error: HTTP/HTTPS Response Error

When I tried to install for the first time, I specified my installation paths, but then I saw that the same thing was registered in USERPROFILE, why? I tried to change the download server, but the system reported that the folders along the installation paths already exist and should be deleted...for some reason? Excuse me, please, but can someone tell me when the process of setting up a programming environment will become easier than programming itself? Windows 10 x64, VS Code 1.64.2

Re: Can't install ESP_IDF extension in VS Code
Should be fixed in 1.4.0 . There was a change in the release URL of ESP-IDF in Espressif download servers.
