SoftAP - set domain name

Hi,

Is it possible to set a domain name within softap?

E.g. I create an access point, and start a webserver.

Rather than entering an ip address in the browser e.g. 192.168.4.1, is it possible to enter a custom domain name e.g. mycontrol.net?

Hi,

not exactly what you are asking for, but maybe you could check mDNS... this way you should be able to reach the ESP board using something like http://MYESP.local
