I have a question about espressif "16-bit UUID for Members".
In all ble mesh examples espressif is using 0x02E5 as 16-bit UUID for Members, which is suggesting it is bought and assigned number, but for some reason espressif is not listed in official bluetooth SIG documentation at all. How is it possible?

Bluetooth 16-bit UUID for Members
Re: Bluetooth 16-bit UUID for Members
Hi chegewara,
This is an interesting question according to the source below it is not compulsory/mandatory to register unless i misunderstand this post:
https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-con ... d-with-sig
However in the source below the explain it different:
https://www.reddit.com/r/esp32/comments ... d_pay_for/
It would be interesting to find out the correct answer as I am currently developing a ble solution using a esp32 based platform.
What would be interesting to find out is that if it is possible to develop a commercial ble solution esp32 based?
Is there a difference in terms of only receiving and processing ble transmissions or transmitting ble signals?
Regards
Mark
