Time out waiting for packet header

I am new to the ESP32 Thing and to programming boards in general. I can not connect to the board using Arduino IDE. The ESP32 does not show in my devices and printer in control panel. Can anyone help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

Can you describe more about your environment? I understand you have an ESP32 ... but is it a module that comes from a vendor ... if so can you describe / post a link.

What type of connection exists between the ESP32 and your PC?

What operating system is your PC running?
