Esp32 devkit v1 keeps blinking for external power supply & it gets very hot for usb

Hello l am new for esp32 and I got some problem please help me!
My esp32 were doing good for previous 2 days, but now it is not working. If I plug it with my PC it goes very hot and the PC doesn't recognize the board. If I power it with external supply(12v 2A) the board starts blinking. In any of these cases last code on the boadr isn't running.
This problem starts after I connect LED through 3v3 pin of the board. Is there any way to fix? Thanks!

afaik most (if not all) of those boards take 5 V as input (and not 12 V). So if your external power supply is indeed 12 V (and that wasn't a typo) I am afraid you might have damaged your board. The fact that it also gets hot and isn't recognized by your PC would support my suspicion. Sorry.
