Any plans for a 4M/8M Wroom-32?

My company is finishing up 2 designs using the Wroom-32. We'd like to use the ESP32 for our next design but require more memory. Our preference would be an upgraded Wroom-32 w/ 4M RAM and 8M flash. Is this planned, and if so, when? If so, but not in the Wroom-32 form factor, when would details for the new module be available? Thanks!

The variant of the WROOM-32 with extra RAM will be called the WROVER. It's not entirely pin-compatible because it's slightly bigger. I'm not sure what amount of flash it will have, but I'm sure you can get 8M of even 16M if you order enough. It's not available yet, however, because we're still working on getting the support for it into ESP-IDF.
