ESP32 Ethernet kit v1.2 , AT commands software

Hi,

We have the esp32-vrower-e in the ESP32 Ethernet Kit v1.2

We want to use it with AT commands, just as the Wroom module is doing by default.

Unfortunately the wrover module is not preloaded with AT command software.

We tried to compile from https://github.com/espressif/esp-at using both older and newest guide, but no success.

We just need the image, does anyone have an image for the esp32-vrower-e that supports AT commands, that we can just burn?

Ps. I feel we miss something here, as it feels very complex compared to the wroom, where we just power on and run out of the box with AT command, no programming needed.
