ip support for leaf and parent nodes

We are looking forward to using ESP-MDF in our application and would like to know if there is support for IP for leaf and parent nodes. I see an example in esp-idf master: https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/tr ... al_network

I believe this is what I'm looking for. If yes, when is it coming to the esp-mdf stable version?

Using of esp-mdf in our product solely depends on the IP capable nodes. Please direct me to any example under esp-mdf which demonstrates this feature.

Thanks a lot for everything that espressif is doing to ease the IoT development life cycle.
