Dear Sirs and Madames,
I would like to develop a beacon scanner with the ESP32. There is an example in the ESP IDF called iBeacon.
We configured the beacon scanner and configured a second ESP32 beacon transmitter to test the ESP32 beacon scanner.
The beacon scanner is configured with the interval 16 and windows also with 16. This corresponds to a scan interval of 10ms.
The beacon transmitter is initialized with the interval min and max for both with 160 to send the advertising telegrams every 100ms.
When testing, we unfortunately find that only 4 to 8 advertising events are scanned per second.
Normally we need the full 10 advertisements per second.
Is that normal? or what do I bottle here?
I would be glad about a feedback.
Best regards
DDMW

Re: ESP32 BLE beacon scanner
I would suggest to make scan interval shorter. There is only 3 advertising channels (at most). Try around 30ms.
