Because of the slow compiling under Windows. I moved to CMAKE with Eclipse.
The build complete with (0 errors, 0 warnings).
But there is a FAILED command at the end of the build.
[781/782] cmd.exe /C "cd . && C:\PROGRA~1\ESPRES~1\ESP-ID~1\tools\bin\XT1FE9~1.EXE -mlongcalls -Wno-frame-address -O3 -DNDEBUG -nostdlib @CMakeFiles/hello-world.elf.rsp -o hello-world.elf && cd ."
FAILED: hello-world.elf
cmd.exe /C "cd . && C:\PROGRA~1\ESPRES~1\ESP-ID~1\tools\bin\XT1FE9~1.EXE -mlongcalls -Wno-frame-address -O3 -DNDEBUG -nostdlib @CMakeFiles/hello-world.elf.rsp -o hello-world.elf && cd ."
XT1FE9~1.EXE: error: world/testide/build/cmake.run.esp32.xtensa/esp-idf/esp32: No such file or directory
XT1FE9~1.EXE: error: world/testide/build/cmake.run.esp32.xtensa/esp-idf/esp32/esp32.project.ld: No such file or directory
ninja: build stopped: subcommand failed.
Build complete (0 errors, 0 warnings): C:\Projects\esp32\hello world\testide\build\cmake.run.esp32.xtensa
Is it because I cannot have space in the folder name?
Thanks
Paul

Re: CMAKE with Eclipse, FAILED: hello-world.elf
Yep. Changing folder name to "hello_world" fixed the problem.
