Using an H2 like this is actually an RCP (radio co-processor). It communicates with the end device, but can't be a gateway, since it has no other protocol available. The RCP uses UART to communicate with an ESP that has WiFi (the gateway).

Re: ESP32 zigbee
I am trying to install Matter and WLED on my ESP32-C6, but to only rely on ZigBee (or Thread) to establish the connection. This is to limit the number of Wifi devices in my house. Does anyone have a tutorial or sample code on how to accomplish this? Thanks!
