ESP32-WROOM-32U Help with antenna selection

I have a project where esp32 will be in plastic box, and target wifi location may change.
What type of antenna should I buy? Or should I use the version of esp32 with pcb antenna?

Any info appreciated.

Plastic generally is transparent to WiFi, so that shouldn't constrain your choice of antenna.

1/8 inch acrylic box and pcb antenna works in a house through one interior wall or wood floor, 30 or 40 feet. 100 feet and a brick wall is too far.
