Wake up not working after IDF 4.4 upgrade.

I'm currently upgrading our product from IDF 4.2 to 4.4. I have got the project to compile after several minor changes. The product runs well when the unit is powered. The problem is that timer and push button wake up are no longer working when the unit is running on battery. Only way I can wake up the unit is to do a hard reset. Does anyone know of any changes to the IDF that could of effect this? Am I missing something in the SDK config I need to change or set?

I just updated my project to 4.4 as well and I'm having the exact same issue with waking my device on either a timer or with a an external wakeup source. Was not seeing this behavior or the prior IDF version that I was on. If anyone could help out with this I would greatly appreciate it!
