Is there an obvious mechanism I'm missing to distibute a complete update for an ESP32? I.e. one that contains all contents that would get transferred by `idf.py flash`? Upates to the partition table, etc. Otherwise OTA would be sufficient.
There are two use cases that come to mind:
- we need a field engineer to update a device and just want to send a single zip (not the entire `build` folder which is +50MB)
- we want to provide product owners a copy of "new" firmware versions. They might be able to handle an upload technically, but they may not have an entire idf installed.
In both cases we may need to make update to the partition table or other aspects that don't only affect the application. Thanks1
