ESP-IDF Release v4.0.3 released, Huh?

Postby username » Sun Jul 18, 2021 1:31 pm

ESP-IDF v4.0.3 is a bugfix update for ESP-IDF v4.0. ESP-IDF v4.3
Am I missing something here, how could the fix, be a lower rev than its predecessor?

Not sure where you read that, but the text seems to have been cut off. Full text is on the Github release page: "ESP-IDF v4.0.3 is a bugfix update for ESP-IDF v4.0. ESP-IDF v4.3 is the latest stable release at time of writing."

I'm a moron. For some reason (stupidity) I read the post as " SP-IDF v4.0.3 is a bugfix update for ESP-IDF v4.3 "
Sorry for the waste of time. I tried to delete this embarrassing post, but since it was replied to I was unable to.

No worries, with the link in between I can understand it's easy to be mis-read.
