Dear community, good afternoon
Going to use ESP-PROG with JTAG connection.
I would expect to connect RESET signal to the EN pin of my ESP32-WROOM-32D but can´t find it in the JTAG header of ESP-PROG.
Should I add external reset?
Thanks for your comments.
Best regards,

It depends - what do you want to use the ESP-PROG for? In general, we can reset the chip using JTAG commands, so for debugging it's not really necessary.

Dear ESP_Sprite, good morning
Thanks for your reply.
I will be using JTAG for both debugging and flashing through JTAG. Should I connect anything on the EN pin of the device?.
Thanks again.

I don't have that much experience with flashing through JTAG, but I don't think so. (Well, outside of the power-on-reset circuit, see e.g. the devkitc schematics or the hardware guidelines for that.)
