Unbrick an ESP Prog after Zadig driver installation attempt?

Postby MikeLemon » Sat Mar 13, 2021 7:15 pm

So I've basically disconnected my esp prog from usb during an attempt to install libusb driver with the app Zadig from windows 10 and now it shows the usb device up but when trying to re-install any other driver if fail with an error message?

Is there a fix for that or the poor little debugger goes to the trash?

Did you try to uninstall it, from device manager, and tick remove all drivers?

I was just wondering, only if it's a quick fix, I've somehow changed the CP2103 on my esp32 devkit C and when connected to the PC It doesn't show on a COM port but in the USB tab with the following ID's from Zadig:

Is there a way to simply reverse this to the ID's it previously had to make it work normally or do I kiss it goodbye?

That only mean you didnt delete driver software properly/completely for this device.
