We design a ESP32-D2WD SOIC based custom board and use ESP32-Prog Flasher UART method to uoload code over Main board.
ESP-32 Prog :- https://robu.in/product/esp-prog-develo ... for-esp32/
I would like to use Upload code over main board using Flasher UART PROG 1.27mm using PROG cable connetor directly.
So my confusion is regarding UART pin I need to do cross connetion of Tx and Rx pin of ESP32-D2WD and Flasher UART PROG pin.
I just add 8 pin connector over Schematic and Cross connect ESP32-D2WD SOIC with Flasher Tx and RX.
Is that Ok and allow me to Upload code using pin header cable Or need to connect Tx and Rx or ESP32 with Flasher Rx and Tx (Does not need to do cross connetion its already cross inside flasher)
Also Please check below Schematic connetion of our custom board design its indicate croess connetion of Rx and Tx with Flash port.
If you find anything else like EEPROM of Supply voltage of VDD or Pull Up issue please comment over that.
Thanks,
AB.

Re: ESP32-D2WD Custom board UART FLash PROG Connection.
Hi,
In the ESP-Prog, you don't need to cross the TX and RX because they are already crossed in the ESP-Prog.
The TXD0 is in fact the RX and the RXD0 is the TX.
For your connection, please consider:
(ESP32) U0TXD -> TXD0 (ESP-PROG)
(ESP32) U0RXD -> RXD0 (ESP-PROG)
Check the ESP-Prog schematic to certify that you are doing the right connection.
