can we use same VM ( just in time i have no answere, so i begin DiY )

and so, i had a try in this night for Linux User Group at "Windows"..
like you can see, we can use the same VM and the same Lubuntu File like esp8266.
( Dbg must be improved manually a little in my situation. but we can check build log and we can see what we must do manually for this tool , will talk later time to jcmvbkbc what the best way is.. will update then here, i do update Lubuntu too in this way )

Here , where i work this week, i have no Linux PC, so i installed VM and Lubuntu img.
The Install description under your linked SDK is simple to do the same thing.
The Install proc. for toolchain had a duration ~ 3 h, so be still patient at compile, install, cross tools and so on.
I must work next time here at business, so i can not try 8-12 days in this next time at home PC, i had a chance this night to do this, so i try and : Done!

and espressif for the SDK.

Hope you can install same all without probleme and hope, that we can try the things real asap with module... "espressif we need module"
