not able to flash esp32
not able to flash esp32
Hi all. I'm not an expert or something with esp32 but I've been working the past 10 months with these chips and learned something about their failures (lot of them). Right now I'm trying to flash code into my 6th esp32 and it appears the following as indicates the image attached. I'm proceding the same way as the other chips I have and only this one gives this error. As you can see in the image, it begins to compress the bytes but then stops and fails. I'm worried that the esp32 is not working anymore. If you could give me a hand I'd be appreciated.

Re: not able to flash esp32
That smells like a failure to communicate with flash... are you sure you haven't connected anything to GPIO pins that are reserved for flash? In general, what board do you use?
Re: not able to flash esp32
Figured out. My GPIO12 was 3.26V and cannot be, because causes the flash to brownout. Everything explained here: https://github.com/espressif/esptool/wi ... other-pins
Thanks anyway!
