Using an Arduino's library in ESP IDF or maybe getting a similar library ???

Sorry guys, do you know if it's possible to include arduino's libraries in ESP IDF (i've read something about arduino as component but i'm not sure about how to use it...). I was looking for including this one (MySQL_Connector):

It is used to store information in a MySQL database without using an intermediate computer or a web- or cloud-based service.

I was thinking to try to port the library to ESP-IDF but it seems a lot of work. It uses Wifi.h and another arduino libraries/functions that I don't know how they work.

Or maybe, if you know a similar library but for ESP-IDF it would be great. I don't care if it is another management system as PostgreSQL, etc.
