ESP32-WROVER module compatibility

I would like to know if these two are pin compatible and what the difference between them.

ESP32-WROVER-E is newer. Same footprint, pinout doesnt have gpio6-11, 3.3v flash/psram and esp32 rev3 chip. Read the datasheets.

We can't use the pins on the older Wrover anyway, so no problems there.
The reason I am asking is because Digikey doesn't have the older one anymore. Are they going to be EOL?
To me it seems the newer one is direct replacement.
Should I expect any problems using the new one to replace the older one?
