Hi
have ESP32 temperature sensor itself?
Can we watch stability of ESP32 Temperatur or Room Temperatur or both?
Have we Self-protection or tripping amended setpoints?
txs
Best wishes

Re: ESP32 does have temperature sensor itself?
we have a temperature sensor. As of now, we are considering calibrating the temperature sensor. however, it is prone to interference from the heat generated by the WiFi circuitry itself, especially when the power amplifier starts transmitting. we haven't had a nice solution yet. but if we put the circuit to sleep and cool down, and then wake up to measure the temperature, it might be accurate enough. averaging may be needed to achieve sufficient accuracy.
Re: ESP32 does have temperature sensor itself?
I'd just be interested in a mode that wakes up the SOC at regular intervals, long one like say 5-10 minutes, reads the temperature and then transmits it via Wifi.
This souds achievable if you have a special low power mode for the chip to just read the temperature. It would transition from deep sleep to the read temperature state, read the temperature and only after that switch to full mode and transmit over WiFi for a brief period ( 1-2s ). It would then have another 5-10 minutes to cool down and show the real temperature when it gets out of sleep. This might not be good enough for everyone and everything but for me it would be great.
