esp camera i2s max clock?

Hello...
somewhere igrr mentioned that the max clock for the i2s module can be 20mhz.

I have a custom camera that has onboard 25mhz oscillator (so not xclocked by esp) and outputs a pixelrate of 25mhz.

I cant capture anything.

As to the i2s module, i understand that it is clocked by the pixelclock of the camera ? !

If 20mhz is max, i have to reduce the pixelclock.

maybe someone can confirm this upper limit of 20mhz.
