Can't buy memory PSRAM-32

Postby Viacheslav » Thu May 16, 2019 8:17 am

For a project in a form factor that does not allow the use of a ready-made module, it turned out to be a problem to buy PSRAM. Everything can be purchased, but memory is not.

Has anyone already encountered a similar problem?

This is wonderful, it’s strange that you cannot buy a chip from espressif themselves.
Thank you in any case, link may be helpfull.

Hi,

Do we have any updates regarding PSRAM-32? That is, does anyone know a new source to buy the ESP32-PSRAM or a drop-in replacement?

It looks like to use the following components, we need to modify the driver. Is that right?

The latest PSRAM is ESP-PSRAM64 (1.8v) and ESP-PSRAM64H (3.3v) .It is supported in IDF SDK.

Yes I'm having the same problem. I reached out to sales and it's been days and no response from them in terms of pricing. We're expecting to do 25,000 - 50,000 units and this is not the sales experience we expect from such a volume.

We have manufacturing in Shenzhen where I have visited along with Macau and Hong Kong.

On the software side I get decent support, on the sales side I'm not impressed.
