ESP32 Pico D4 kit flashing 3 times. Does not work

Hi,

I have done some ota testing with my Pico D4 kit. After a restart of my pc and reconnecting the esp32 it doesn't run anymore.
If I connect it now to my PC the red light flashes 3 times and then i got a message on the pc that usb don't work correctly.

Have i bricked the PICO kit? Or is there any solutions to fix it?

That is very hard to say, however I can state that whatever you broke probably is hardware-related. USB is normally routed to a separate USB-to-serial converter; the state of the ESP32 and its software will not be able to influence or break that. Are you sure you don't have a short or large power drain somewhere? Does changing the USB cable for a thicker one solve anything?

Thanks for the response.
I've got it back running by connecting 3.3V and ground to another power source. Maybe the ldo is broken?
Sadly i don't know what really happened.
Also another USB cable didn't change anything.
