Formatting time for spiffs - wrover-b with 16MB flash

Hi,

I've started using wrover-b modules with 16MB flash (on the module) in the past week or so. It seems that by dedicating 13MB of its flash as spiffs, initial boot took 70 seconds to format all that 13MB of space. I'd like to know if this is expected or too long.
Is there any way to avoid this time during production?
